This Massive Game Bundle Costs $10 and Benefits Ukraine Charities

We have published a list of ways to help the people of Ukraine in the wake of Russia's invasion. Here's one more. Itch.io is selling a bundle of 992 games, books, and other fun things for a pay-what-you-want price starting at $10. Since the bundle is for charity, purchasers are encouraged to donate more than $10 if they're able to. The games are playable or downloadable at the Itch.io site.

All of the proceeds will be split evenly between two charities aiding the people of Ukraine: the International Medical Corps, which assists with medical services, child protection, and mental health care for civilians; and Voices of Children, which provides psychological and psychosocial support to children facing war-induced trauma. You can also read about them and others in our guide. If you'd like to donate to other charities, consider giving directly.

More than 700 indie developers put together the dizzying collection of games, music, books, and other content. The full bundle includes hits like Celeste and A Short Hike. There's one about committing crimes as a magician. There are horror stories. There are lesbians with swords. There are groceries to shop for, dice to roll, and time-looping audio mysteries to solve. No matter what you're into, this bundle likely has at least one (if not several) indie titles to strike your fancy—not to mention the included soundtracks, comics, and other works.

The bundle is available for a few more days.
