Nintendo Switch Deals

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for $50 ($20 off)

Walmart ($53), Gamestop

This is one of our favorite controllers, and one of the best ways to upgrade your Switch gaming experience. It's supremely comfortable to hold for long game sessions, and it has long battery life. It's just a shame it doesn't come in fun colors like the neon blue and red Joy-Cons.

$50 Nintendo eShop Gift Card for $45

This is about as self-explanatory as a deal can get. This gift card for $50 in eShop credit is knocked down to $45, so it's basically an extra $5 off any games you're planning to buy. The card balance doesn't expire, either, so if you ever plan to spend at least $50 on games, this deal's a no-brainer.

SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth Headset for $70 ($30 off)

The Nintendo Switch handles multiplayer audio in an odd way, running team chat through an app on your phone. This is the best gaming headset to handle that. It can pair to your phone to get team chat, while still connecting to the Switch with a 3.5-mm cord for game audio.

PowerA Corded Nintendo Switch Controller for $20 ($8 off)

Nintendo's official Joy-Con controllers can be a pain to use for larger hands, but the wireless Pro Controller can be pretty pricey. For the budget-conscious, this wired controller is dirt cheap and comes in a wide variety of colors.

Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 + 3 Months Nintendo Switch Online for $300

Best Buy (Sold Out), Target (Sold Out), Amazon (Sold Out), GameStop (Sold Out)

Normally the original Nintendo Switch is $300 on its own, but this bundle comes with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe–one of the better Mario Kart games in years–plus three months of the Nintendo Switch Online service included for free. The latter gives you access to a small library of classic NES and SNES games, so you'll have plenty to play for the price of the console alone.

PC Gaming Deals

Samsung Odyssey G7 27-Inch Gaming Monitor for $500 ($150 off)

Amazon, Samsung

This curved gaming monitor supports both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync, so you'll get smooth gameplay with whatever graphics card powers your PC. We tested and liked it overall, but its retail price is way too high; this deal makes it easier to stomach. It has a refresh rate fast enough to keep up with whatever your computer is throwing at it. We've seen this monitor go on sale already this season, but now it's down to its lowest price ever.

Samsung Odyssey G3 27-Inch FHD Gaming Monitor for $230 ($50 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

We haven't tried this 27-inch monitor, but it's the little sibling of the same-size G7. With a Full HD display, support for AMD's FreeSync, and a 144-Hz refresh rate, it's a pretty robust gaming monitor for a downright reasonable price, even before today's discount.

SteelSeries Arctis 3 Corded Headset for $34 ($26 off)

We like the Bluetooth Arctis 3 as a wireless headset, particularly when paired with the Nintendo Switch. However, if it's more important for you to have one headset for all your consoles rather than going wireless, this corded version is an inexpensive option with great audio quality that you can use on just about any console with the 3.5-mm headphone cable. Since this is a wired-up headset, it also works great with both PlayStation or Xbox consoles!

SteelSeries Premier Gaming Bundle for $100 ($30 off)

We're fans of a lot of SteelSeries gaming hardware, but this bundle has an Apex 3 keyboard, Rival 3 corded mouse, and an Arctis 1 corded headset, which collectively can cost upwards of $170 when purchased separately. Plus, the bundle throws in a mouse pad, so you have all the accessories you need to level up your PC gaming rig with one purchase.

JBL Quantum One for $150 ($150 off)

Amazon, JBL, Target (Sold Out)

This headset might have an extra thick coating of Gamer Aesthetic™, but what it lacks in subtlety, it makes up for with incredible 3D audio quality. This corded headset works on any console you can plug it into, but when you use it on PC with the JBL software, the spatial audio soundscape comes alive.

Razer Viper Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse for $40 ($23 off)

Best Buy, Amazon (Sold Out)

Wired mice might be slightly less convenient than wireless, but when you want to keep input lag and connection interruptions to a minimum, they're indispensable. (Plus, no recharging ever.) This Razer Viper mouse isn't just great as a corded option, it's also ambidextrous, so anyone can use it. It's considerably cheaper than its wireless cousin, which is one of our favorite gaming mice.

SteelSeries Prime Wireless Gaming Mouse for $91 ($27 off)

Amazon, Best Buy ($96)

SteelSeries regularly impresses us with its gaming peripherals, and the SteelSeries Prime Wireless gaming mouse is no exception. It's our top overall pick for gaming mice, thanks to its understated design, uncluttered button layout, and generous wireless range.

Logitech G305 Wireless Mouse for $30 ($11 off)

Target, Amazon

The Logitech G305 may not have as many bells and whistles as more expensive gaming mice, but if you need something reliable, it's hard to beat. Reviews editor Julian Chokkattu has used the Logitech G305 for over two years without ever having a problem. It takes a single AA battery and can last for months with one.

Roccat Kone Pro Air Mouse for $90 ($40 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

The Roccat Kone Pro Air is one of our favorite gaming mice, not only because it has outlandish, semi-transparent LED buttons, but because of its deeply satisfying click action. If you're the kind of person to get an emotional high from clicky mechanical keyboards, then this mouse will pair well with your sensory palate.

Razer Basilisk Ultimate Wireless Mouse for $80 ($30 off)

Amazon, Gamestop

Highly customizable mice can be powerful tools for gaming (or for work) and while the Razer Basilisk Ultimate has cycled off our list of best gaming mice, it remains a solid option. It has 11 programmable buttons, a comfortable ergonomic design, and a highly sensitive optical sensor.

Elgato Stream Deck for $100 ($50 off)

Amazon, Best Buy (Out of Stock)

There's no more stylish way to streamline your productivity—or if you're a streamer, your broadcasts—than with a customizable command deck. The Elgato Stream Deck is one of the most popular tools for this, with 15 programmable LCD-illuminated buttons that can be customized to launch certain apps, run scripts, or integrate directly with the apps you're using. It's rare that the Stream Deck drops to a price this low, so it's a great time to grab one.

Razer Huntsman Mini for $80 ($40 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

Giant keyboards with an excessive number of extra keys had their day. Now, it's all about compact boards, like this 60 percent keyboard, the Razer Huntsman Mini. This is one of our favorite mechanical keyboards for gaming, thanks to its compact size, RGB backlighting, and satisfyingly clicky keys.

Netgear Nighthawk XR1000 Wi-Fi 6 Gaming Router for $275 ($75 off)

Amazon, Best Buy ($300), Gamestop

When you think “gaming hardware,” your mind might not immediately jump to routers, but if you play online, perhaps you should. This router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 and comes with an impressive array of advanced tools that can help players get their ping times down and allocate bandwidth not just to the device they're playing on, but even to the specific game they're playing.

HyperX QuadCast USB Microphone for $84 ($56 off)

If you spend any time watching streamers on Twitch, you've seen this microphone before. It's one of the more popular USB condenser microphones, and for good reason. Not only does it pick up stellar vocal audio like other condenser mics, but it has built-in LEDs to light up that striking red column, which might be why so many streamers flock to it.

Mavix M7 Gaming Chair for $661 ($117 off)

This WIRED-favorite office chair is comfortable and cooling. The adjustable armrests and seat angles ensure an ergonomic experience, and the lumbar support prevents lower back pain during hours-long gaming sessions. Mavix doesn't hold sales very frequently, so grab this one while it's still available.

PlayStation Deals

PlayStation Plus 12-Month Membership for $40 ($20 off)

Amazon, Best Buy

Every month, PlayStation Plus doles out a few free games, plus discounts on countless others. Over the course of a year, this subscription can pay for itself even at its normal price of $60 a year. Of course, it regularly goes on sale for less than that—like right now, when you can top off your membership for just $40.

Elgato HD60 S Capture Card for $120 ($20 off)

Stream your games this holiday with this capture card. Just plug it into your PlayStation and run it to your PC or Mac, and you'll be able to show off your gameplay in 1080p at 60 frames per second.

SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless for $75 ($25 off)

This deal is going in and out of stock. We're keeping it up just in case it comes back.

The SteelSeries Arctis 1 is one of our favorite inexpensive wireless headsets. It comes with a collection of dongles that let it pair wirelessly with PlayStation consoles, the Nintendo Switch, and most phones. While you can also pair it via Bluetooth, you'll get fewer latency issues with the adapters. Also worth noting, the Xbox and PlayStation branded versions of this headset are identical, so be sure to check both listings for availability.

WD_Black D30 Game Drive SSD 1-TB for $140 ($10 off)

Need to expand storage to fit more games on your PlayStation 5? This is a small deal, but this 1-terabyte solid state drive will do the trick. If you prefer an internal SSD, then the 2-TB WD_Black SN850 NVMe is also on sale for $320 ($40 off). We have details on how you can install it right here.

Astro A40 Wireless Gaming Headset for $100 ($29 off)

The Astro A50 is one of our favorite wireless gaming headsets, particularly because of its charging base station. While the A40 doesn't have the latter feature, it's also a third of the price, so it's hard to pass up. This version is wirelessly compatible with PlayStation consoles, but there are also models compatible with Xbox and PC.

HyperX Cloud Stinger Core for $20 ($10 off)

You can't do much better than this HyperX gaming headset if you want an ultra-cheap way to communicate in-game with your fellow squadmates. The mic is pretty good, the audio comes through clean, and it's comfortable enough for long gaming marathons.

Xbox Deals

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 3-Month Membership for $25 ($20 off)

Target, Amazon (Expired)

This deal is going in and out of stock. We're keeping them up just in case it comes back.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription may already be one of the best deals in gaming. It comes with a Netflix-style library of games, including many day-one releases of games from companies Microsoft owns, like Bethesda and Bungie, for one low price. Normally it goes for about $15 a month, but right now you can get three months for $25, which you can stack up to 36 months.

Xbox Game Pass 3-Month Membership for PC for $20 ($10 off)

The Xbox Game Pass subscription comes with the same library of games as the Ultimate subscription, including many first-party Microsoft games. But this version of the subscription is specifically for PC players. You can also stack this deal for up to 36 months.

PowerA Xbox Controller Charging Station for $15 ($10 off)

One of the best accessories you can get for any console is a charging station. Replaceable batteries, like the kind Xbox controllers use, can get expensive quickly, so you'll save yourself money in the long run. This dual charging stand from PowerA would already pay for itself at $25, but now that it's down to $15, it's cheaper than a really big pack of AAs.

PowerA Moga Mobile Gaming Clip for $10 ($5 off)

If you can't get your hands on an Xbox Series S/X, you can still potentially play exclusive games via Xbox Cloud Gaming, which comes as part of Game Pass. Clips like this one let you attach your phone to an Xbox controller, so you can play streaming games anywhere, even when you're not at your couch.

Backbone One iPhone Gaming Controller for $85 ($15 off)

Amazon (Sold Out), Backbone

You might have a hard time getting your hands on a new Xbox this year, but that doesn't mean you have to miss out. The Backbone iPhone controller (8/10, WIRED Recommends) impressed us as an inexpensive way to turn your iPhone into a portable console. It even comes with a 3-month trial of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which lets you stream a library of games from the cloud. Just keep in mind if you have an iPhone 13, you'll need a Lightning to USB-C adapter to use this.

Xbox X/S/One Game DealsCrysis Remaster Trilogy for $30 ($20 off)Red Dead Redemption 2 for $20 ($10 off)Mass Effect: Legendary Edition for $28 ($12 off)Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy for $27 ($35 off)Psychonauts 2 for $30 ($30 off)It Takes Two for $20 ($20 off)

Up to 50 Percent Off Select Jackbox Games (PC, Switch, Xbox)

Jackbox, Steam, Nintendo, Microsoft

The Jackbox games are hilarious fun, and some of the best games to play when stuck indoors. So long as one player has a copy of the game, other players can join in using a smartphone. Every pack has different games to play, ranging from trivia and drawing contests to made-up words and ad-libs.

Oculus Quest 2 for $299 + $50 Gift Card

The Oculus Quest 2 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is a contender for best-selling VR headset, and it's not hard to see why. It's a stand-alone headset that doesn't require all the external trackers or cables that most high-end headsets use. Yet it's powerful enough to play most games. Best of all, it can still connect to a PC to play the higher-end games it can't run on its own. This deal doesn't technically come with a discount, but this has been a tough piece of hardware to get during the pandemic, and you can grab a free $50 Target gift card when you buy it here.
