TV Deals Under $1,000

Read our Best TVs guide for all our top TV picks, many of which are on this list!

TCL 5-Series 55-Inch TV for $499 ($100 off)

The TCL 5-Series offers incredible value at this price. You'll get an awesome Roku interface and a quantum-dot-enhanced panel, which means brighter, bolder colors. It has been discounted at this price since October, when a lot of early holiday sales started, but it's still a great get.

TCL 43-Inch Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR TV for $280 ($90 off)

TCL's 4-Series used to be a bit under-spec'd for my tastes, but the tech from the higher-end 5- and 6-series models has steadily trickled down over the past few years. That makes this 43-inch a great buy if you're looking for a smaller model for a kitchen, guest bedroom, or bathroom.

Vizio M7 75-Inch TV for $998 ($201 off)

Amazon, Walmart

If you're after a larger TV for a bigger living space, this Vizio is a great deal. It comes with quantum dot color, Vizio's Pro Gaming Engine for solid performance with game consoles, and the Smartcast ecosystem—one of our favorite methods for casting videos to the TV from your phone.

Sony X90J 55-Inch TV for $998 ($180 off)

Amazon, Best Buy ($1,000)

We like Sony TVs for their excellent video processing software, which produces a superior picture. Priced just below the $1,000 mark, this is a great-looking TV with vibrant color and a classy design. It has Google TV onboard, so you'll easily be able to cast your favorite shows from Google Chrome or Android.

HiSense U8G 55-Inch TV for $750 ($100 off)

Amazon

This HiSense ULED TV (8/10, WIRED Recommends) was very nearly our favorite overall television this year. The price-to-performance value for this one is matched only by our favorite TCL TVs, but if you have a stronger preference for Google's smart TV software, this Google-powered model is the better pick for you.

LG 55-Inch NanoCell 4K UHD TV for $600 ($100 off)

LG's NanoCell LED technology makes colors look great, and its Smart TV operating system is actually pretty darn solid. Still, the real reason to buy this model over similarly priced boxes from others is the Magic Remote—LG's point-and-click, Nintendo Wii-like remote. It's glorious. You'll never have to incessantly tap the arrow keys on the remote to input a password again.

Samsung 65-Inch Q60A QLED 4K TV for $848 ($152 off)

Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon

This 65-inch Samsung has Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant built in, so you can search for shows or music you want to hear. It's not the prettiest TV on this list, but this is a solid deal for 65 inches of screen real estate and quality image processing.

Vizio M-Series Quantum 55-Inch for $530 ($50 off)

Amazon

This Vizio M-Series Quantum TV (8/10, WIRED Recommends) impressed our reviewer with decent local dimming (even if it's a bit sparse compared to some TCL models) and excellent contrast levels. The quantum dot display means you'll get bright, vivid colors as well.

High-End TV Deals

LG C1 OLED 55-Inch TV for $1,297 ($200 off)

Target (Out of Stock), Amazon, Best Buy

LG's C1 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is the best TV we have tested this year. It has gorgeous black levels, hyper-fast gaming response times, and one of the best smart TV interfaces on the market. Whether you're looking to game at 120 frames per second in 4K, or just to watch darker content like The Mandalorian in ultra fidelity, this model is the ticket.

Samsung QN90A 55-Inch TV for $1,348 ($452 off)

Amazon ($1,448), Walmart

The QN90A is the best 4K TV I've tested for brighter rooms. It has insane contrast, thanks to Mini LED backlighting, and the quantum dot display means super-bright colors. I also like that it has a pedestal stand, which makes it easy to place on smaller TV tables.

Vizio OLED 55-Inch TV for $1,000 ($300 off) (Sold Out)

This deal keeps going in and out of stock. We're keeping it on this page just in case it comes back.

Vizio's OLED is among the best-looking TVs you'll find for the money. It has excellent gaming performance (up to 120 frames per second at 4K resolution on the latest consoles), and the deep blacks make everything from shows to films look gorgeous and lifelike.

LG A1 OLED 48-Inch TV for $897

If you have a smaller room or you're looking for the world's largest computer monitor, check out this gorgeous entry-level OLED from LG, which has deep blacks and astonishing highlights.

Sony A80J OLED 55-Inch for $1,398 ($402 off) (Out of Stock)

Amazon (Out of Stock), Walmart (Out of Stock)

Sony's OLEDs are some of the prettiest TVs that money can buy. If you're a regular viewer in dark rooms, you'll notice the perfect black levels, gorgeous colors, and excellent processing making every film and TV show you love look better than ever.

Samsung The Frame QLED 43-Inch TV for $798 ($150 off)

Amazon

If you have a space with curated design and you don't want a TV getting in the way, Samsung's Frame models are a great option. When you're not using them to watch TV, you can set the super-thin TVs to show a variety of famous artworks, allowing the screens to disappear into the background. At this size, it's perfect for smaller spaces.

Soundbar Deals

Read our Best Soundbars guide to learn what type of soundbar would work best with your current home entertainment setup.

Yamaha YAS-209 Soundbar for $300 ($50 off)

The YAS-209 is an excellent soundbar that sounds great and is easy to use. It has Amazon's Alexa voice control onboard, so you can play music, check the weather, and even set timers with ease. It's been down to this price a couple other times since August, but this is as cheap as it gets.

Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar for $2,000 ($500 off)

Amazon, Crutchfield

This soundbar is one of the most expensive ones we feature, and for good reason. It's our pick for best luxury soundbar, with some of the most advanced audio processing we've heard from a single bar. It excels at projecting sound around the room and making you feel like you have a surround system even when you don't.

Polk Audio React Soundbar for $169 ($80 off)

Amazon, B&H (Out of Stock)

The Polk React (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is among our favorite soundbars, thanks to its excellent Amazon Alexa integration. You can use Amazon's voice assistant to easily set timers or play music. The bar even has modular speakers and a subwoofer available as stand-alone extras, so you can upgrade to full surround sound later.

Vizio 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos Soundbar for $400

Vizio's Atmos soundbar shoots well above its price point when it comes to sound quality. It's a small 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos system, but it has a dedicated subwoofer and rear surrounds that provide you with totally immersive sound. You'll love it for a more theater-like experience at home. It's been dropping in price since October, when it was at $550.

Vizio V-Series 5.1 Soundbar for $200 ($50 off)

Target (Out of Stock), Best Buy

This is a screaming deal on a great surround sound system from Vizio. You get dedicated wireless surround speakers and a dedicated wireless subwoofer, plus support for Dolby 5.1. It's cheaper than most bars without surround speakers, and it sounds better too.

Roku Streambar for $80 ($50 off)

Target, Amazon, Best Buy

Roku's Streambar is a great combination of a mini soundbar and streaming device with Roku OS onboard, making it the perfect device to pair with smaller, older TVs.

Samsung HW-S50A Dolby Atmos Soundbar for $194 ($55 off)

Amazon (Out of Stock), Walmart

If you don't have the room for a full-fledged surround sound system with dedicated speakers and a subwoofer, this compact soundbar will send sound waves bouncing around your room to approximate the standard Dolby Atmos experience.

Samsung 3.1-Channel Soundbar for $195 ($203 off)

Samsung's soundbar/subwoofer combo options are often a bit overpriced compared to the competition from Vizio and others. This Cyber Monday, that's not as true, thanks to this solid deal on a bar and wireless subwoofer that features DTS:X and Dolby 5.1 support.

Streaming Devices and Services

Read our guide to the Best TV Streaming Devices.

Roku TV Streaming Stick 4K (2021) for $30 ($20 off)

If you want to watch your favorite shows and movies on a big screen, just plug this streaming stick into the HDMI port. It has all the latest Roku features, with support for HDR and Dolby Vision. There's also this older model for $40 ($20 off) that comes with a headphone jack built into the remote control, so you can listen with any set of cans. (A pair of earbuds is also included.)

Google Chromecast With Google TV for $40 ($10 off)

Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Adorama

We're big fans of this dongle (8/10, WIRED Recommends) because it can easily help you access nearly all streaming apps. There's even built-in Google Assistant for easy voice search, and you can still cast from your phone as with the old Chromecast dongles.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (3rd Gen) for $25 ($10 off)

Target, Amazon

If you like Amazon's ecosystem, this is a good deal on a good streaming stick. The Fire Stick 4K interface isn't as smooth as Google or Roku, but it's still totally decent. If you enjoy using Alexa elsewhere in your home, you'll like its Alexa voice control features.

★ Hulu 12-Month Subscription (Ad-Supported) for $12 ($70 off)

Hulu has become one of our favorite streaming services, with a huge library of popular shows (including many former Netflix titles that it picked up), as well as live TV offerings. The current deal of an entire year of ad-supported Hulu for $12 is available to both new and returning subscribers.
