Investing in a good mattress can make a world of difference in relieving back pain and improving your overall sleep quality. You know those jackets you can buy that are reversible? Well, that's what this Layla is, except it's a mattress. You can flip this two-sided foam mattress if you feel like a night's sleep on a soft or firm surface. It's a nice way to get a feel for both types without having to make a trip to the store. Nectar Sleep Memory Foam Mattress for $669 ($330 off)
Does the thought of spending over a grand on a bed keep you up at night? Well, this is a solid deal. The Nectar mattress is a good option for side sleepers. Its MSRP is $999 but we usually see it dip to $799, so this is indeed a real discount. It's an all-foam bed, not a hybrid, but it's just cushy enough—it sinks in, but doesn't swallow you up. Yaasa's weighted blanket is expensive and rarely discounted, but it's our favorite if you like a stiff, heavy blanket. The open-knit design is pretty and allows air to circulate if you're a hot sleeper like me. It feels so much heavier than other options too (this is a good thing!). Gravity might be the best-known weighted blanket company, and this blanket is its first affordable version. It left nothing to be desired—I loved sleeping with it. It's 15 pounds and the perfect size for one person to enjoy without annoying their partner. It's machine washable, but there are a few cover options too. If you buy the blanket from Amazon, there's an additional 10 percent off discount on the page.

You can get a great blanket for less with the Gravity option above, but Brooklinen's is beautiful, especially in the terracotta and dark green colors. It's a nice 12 pounds, with a satisfyingly textured side and a smooth cotton side.

I love this little sound machine. It's marketed for babies, and it works great for them (especially the shhhh sound), but it's great for anyone who wants portability or simply a tiny machine that won't take up too much space. There are 11 sounds packed into this tiny round body, including a busy restaurant-like muffled chatter, and you can let it run continuously or on one of three timers (30, 60, or 90 minutes). The swirl can work as a night light too.

It has child-specific features, namely the time-to-rest and time-to-rise lights. It's good for early risers to not annoy their parents on their one and only day to sleep in, but it could also be helpful for adults who need reminding to put down their phones and take a second to get into sleep mode. Using the app, you can customize colors and cycle through sounds. The second-gen version uses Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth.
Morphée Sleep Meditation Box for $75 ($25 off)
I really like Morphée products. They're thoughtfully made and screenless. You can get a basic sound machine for cheaper, but this one adds meditations too. You can go from crackling fireplace sounds to meditative sessions designed for falling into a deep sleep. The downside is you can only choose between playing for 8 or 20 minutes; I wish it played sounds continuously.
My Little Morphée Sleep Meditation Box for $85 ($15 off)
Get this one for kids. Not only is it adorable, but the meditations also take kids on journeys with an animal companion. I gave one to a friend whose daughter loves it, listening while toting it from room to room. It has the same time constraints as the adult version.
LectroFan Classic for $30 ($20 off)
If you're not in need of a guided meditation or other more involved sleep mechanism, but you need a little something to drown out the deafening silence of night, the LectroFan Classic is a great. It may come across as a simple, standard white noise machine, but it's more customizable than most. You have the choice of pink, brown, or white noise alongside fan sounds and adjustable decibel levels. Add on the 60 minute timer, and you'll be snoozing soundly in no time.
Withings Sleep Tracking Mat for $90 ($10 off)
Tracking your sleep habits can be interesting, but most of us don't want to wear something on our wrists to bed. This mat goes underneath your mattress and after a one-time calibration, it just works, so you don't have to think about anything except falling into dreamland. It detects sounds like snoring, and alerts you of any breathing disturbances that may indicate sleep apnea. When you wake up, you can check results on the connected app. The price jumped to $130 in the last month, but it's been steadily $100 before that.
Sleepme Dock Pro for $862 ($287 off)
This costs a nice chunk of change, but if you find that you're constantly fighting with the temperature, it may be worth it. You'll get a Chilisleep pad to lay on top of your mattress, and that connects to a water-pumping unit that maintains the temperature you choose between 55 and 115 degrees Fahrenheit. WIRED writer Simon Hill said the pad wasn't very comfortable, though, and the water unit is noisy. This is best saved for those who are desperate for the perfect sleep.
More Sleep DealsBuffy Wiggle Pillow for $55 ($14 off)
Body pillows are generally about the length of you or somewhat shorter. With this Wiggle pillow, I can wrap it around me, cocooning between it with my head on the top. I sleep so well squeezing this. The brand makes fuzzy covers, too, but they're currently sold out. The cover makes it feel like a teddy bear, but I like the cooling feel without it.
Brooklinen Luxe Sateen Sheets (Queen) for $134 ($45 off)
WIRED reviewer Haley Sprankle has been testing bedsheets, and these sateen ones from Brooklinen are a front-runner. She says they've got a buttery soft feel but don't heat up during the night. They also come in pretty, muted colors, and even a few patterns like a stunning kaleidoscope.
Blissy Silk Sleep Mask for $26 ($24 off)
Blissy's silk mask is cooling and comfortable, and it blocks out all the light so I can sleep in. It also comes in 38 (!!) colors and patterns. I alternate between this one and Nodpod's weighted sleep mask.
Parachute Percale Sheets: 20 Percent off
WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu likes Parachute's crisp percale sheets, but the brand's linen, sateen, and cotton options are also on sale. They don't come in a set, however, so you'll have to purchase a top sheet for $64 ($16 off) and a fitted sheet for $72 ($18 off) separately—there are shams for $63 ($16 off) if you need them. If you don't sleep with a top sheet, this might be a perk for you.
Sijo Sheet Set for $140 ($35 off)
WIRED writer Jaina Grey likes Sijo's cooling sheets. She says they're silky, and keep you just warm enough without smothering you. Like the Parachute sheets above, you can choose to get just the fitted sheet, if you want.
